With a fresh new look and logo, Halifax’s premier full-service, Four Diamond Hotel is enjoying a busy summer
Atlific Hotels is pleased to announce the major renovation of its managed property, The Prince George Hotel. Long known as “the” place to stay in Halifax, interior updates offer a refreshing and inspired look to accompany the hotel’s exceptional service, luxe amenities and eco-friendly practices. The hotel has also received a new logo that personifies its new interior design and all that it stands for. The logo is now clean, crisp and elegant reflecting this new chapter for the property.
“We are very proud of the striking new design of the hotel and excited to showcase it to our loyal customers,” said Scott Travis, General Manager, The Prince George Hotel. “The updates will help ensure that our customers continue to enjoy the best amenities and guest experience possible,” Travis continued.
Already a favourite choice for conferences, banquets and weddings, the renovations have transformed the hotels public spaces and guestrooms with contemporary design, custom light fixtures and luxury furnishings reflecting the city’s natural surroundings.
The expansive lobby is now a functional and tastefully designed main foyer, with modern reception pods, high-top communal tables, two guest computers and a living room with lounge seating and fireplace. Sparkling white, mosaic marble and hand back painted white glass walls illuminate the space and provide the perfect backdrop for custom lounge furniture. Whimsical chairs notoriously popular for guest selfies complete the scene.
Levelbar, the new lobby bar opposite the hotel’s front entrance, provides the perfect gathering spot for guests and locals. Equipped with barstools, mini booths, dramatic purple velvet chairs and an outside deck, the bar adds visual energy and animation to the lobby space. The deck offers guests a comfortable spot to kick back and unwind with a cool beverage and a light bite.
Refreshed guestrooms and suites create a warm, rich and contemporary atmosphere that is equally relaxed, inviting and upscale. With a palette of washed golden oak, and shades of grey and blue, rooms evoke the Maritime’s sandy beaches and moody seas.
The Prince George Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Halifax, close to fine shopping and restaurants and a half hour drive from Halifax International Airport. The city’s business core is steps from the property along with the historic Halifax Waterfront. Guests can also enjoy being connected to the Downtown Halifax Link, a convenient network of climate-controlled pedways that link various entertainment venues and buildings around the city’s downtown.
