Robert Chartrand, CPA, CA Chief Executive Officer

A member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Robert Chartrand joined Atlific Hotels in 1983 and has helped lead the company to the forefront of cost controls and standards in the Canadian hospitality industry. In 1995 he was appointed Executive Vice-President responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and new business development. Most recently Robert was nominated Chief Executive Officer where he will lead the development and execution of the company’s long term strategy, as well as manage its overall operations and resources. Robert’s passion for Atlific Hotels and his team across Canada is evident in everything he does.

Wendy Lamont, Executive Vice President

Wendy Lamont Executive Vice President

Wendy brings a depth of expertise in hospitality revenue management complemented with experience in sales, marketing and human resources. Most recently she spent four years with Coast Hotels as Executive Director, Revenue, Sales & Distribution. Wendy has also been a part-time instructor for Vancouver Community College’s Bachelor of Hospitality Management Program. With a combination of technical expertise, strategic approach and impressive hotel industry track record she is the ideal person to lead Atlific’s revenue strategies, maximizing performance in the area of Sales, Marketing, eCommerce and Revenue Management as we continue to grow. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Hospitality from Vancouver Community College, a Professional Human Resource Management Certificate from Seattle Pacific University, and a Hotel and Restaurant Management diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Christine Kennedy Vice-President, Finance, Atlific Hotels

Christine Kennedy Vice-President, Finance

Appointed Vice-President, Finance in 2013, Christine Kennedy has worked with Atlific Hotels since 2006 and brings expertise from the field of public accounting, the supply chain management software industry and the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. A member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and graduate of McGill University, Christine has experience with both public and private enterprises focusing on business processes to improve accounting practices, internal audit compliance, treasury management and information systems. She has been involved with an initial public offering and understands the varied regulatory compliance requirements facing different ownership structures.

Philippe Gadbois Senior Vice-President, Operations

Philippe Gadbois Senior Vice-President, Operations

Philippe Gadbois brings to Atlific Hotels more than 40 years of industry experience. He spent 25 years with Hilton International achieving the responsibility of President and CEO of Hilton Canada Inc. He also held a senior position at Realstar Hospitality Corp. and owned a hotel consulting firm. Philippe, a graduate of Université de Montréal, is the current Chair of the Hotel Association of Canada and the founding Chairman of the Business Council for Tourism Issues. At Atlific, Philippe identifies new developments and business opportunities for Atlific Hotels with hotel investors.

Raymond St-Pierre Vice-President, Operations

Raymond St-Pierre is a graduate in Hotel Management from the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec in Montréal. In 1991 St-Pierre successfully opened the Montréal Downtown Holiday Inn where he won multiple Awards of Excellence. He was appointed general manager of the Montréal Château Champlain in 1995 and helped guide this renowned property through the rebranding to Marriott. St-Pierre was named Hotelier of the Year by the Québec Hotel Association and was elected President of the Montréal Hotel Association in 1998, the same year he was appointed Vice-President, Operations for Atlific Hotels.

Gordon Johnson Vice-President, Operations

Gordon has spent thirty plus years in hospitality management and has a stellar reputation for driving excellence in all metrics, including market and financial performance.
His accomplished background includes hotel openings and brand transitions, primarily with Delta Hotels and Resorts where he spent the majority of his career, the most recent as Regional Vice President for BC overseeing 8 properties. Gordon considers himself a big picture thinker with a dynamic leadership style, who values the importance of innovation and creativity, strategic planning, relationship management and company culture.
Gordon’s passion for the industry and community over the years is demonstrated by his contributions to numerous boards in a leadership capacity as Chair of Tourism Vancouver, Tourism Calgary and the Vancouver Hotel General Managers’ Association to name just a few. He has a Bachelor of Hospitality from Vancouver Community College and is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from the University of Guelph.

Bonnie Ng Secretary-Treasurer, Atlific Hotels

Bonnie Ng Secretary-Treasurer

A member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, Bonnie Ng possesses over 20 years of diverse experience from industries in financial services, engineering, automation technology and software development. Bonnie also brings public accounting experience from KPMG where her clients spanned public and private entities in manufacturing, insurance and the hospitality industry, of which Atlific was one. Bonnie started with Atlific Hotels in 2002 as Corporate Controller and was appointed Secretary-Treasurer in 2006. She finds herself fortunate to work within the Atlific family comprised of devoted and enthusiastic members committed to hospitality excellence.
