Thanks to a major donation to the Fondation de l'ithq, Atlific Hotels sponsors an ITHQ classroom

ITHQMontreal, September 10, 2010 The Fondation de l’Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ), Atlific Hotels and the ITHQ have signed a partnership agreement and have inaugurated the Atlific Hotels classroom. Robert Chartrand, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Atlific Hotels, Lucille Daoust, ITHQ Executive Director, and Paloma Fernandez, Fondation de l’ITHQ Executive Director, unveiled the plaque.

With this agreement, Atlific demonstrates its support for the ITHQ, and as such, it has become a preferred partner by offering to welcome and integrate students in internships throughout their vast North American network. The signatories of this agreement are joining forces and combining their efforts to develop training that will benefit these students, who are striving for excellence and perfection.

The ITHQ recognizes and applauds the generosity and vision of Atlific Hotels, a leader in the hospitality industry. Le Westin Montréal Adds Even More Meeting Space With Opening of a New Tradeshow Hall

Toronto, September 2, 2010 – Le Westin Montreal's extraordinary 12,000 square foot open concept exhibition hall is the newest addition to the hotel's expansive 40,000 square feet of windowed meeting space.

Atlific Hotel’s Award-Winning Residence Inn by Marriott London Downtown Unveils Design Transformation

June 3, 2010 – Residence Inn by Marriott London Downtown proudly unveils a brand new look just in time for summer. Managed by Atlific Hotels, the fully renovated hotel introduces a bright, bold, art deco-inspired design complete with vibrant colours throughout.

"The Residence Inn London continues to exceed our goals and expectations by reaching some of the highest occupancy rates in the city," said Philippe Gadbois, senior vice-president sales and marketing, Atlific Hotels. The renovation at the Residence Inn London was a complete transformation that included a reconfiguration of many of the suites and spaces. Walls were added to create more private spaces and additional bedrooms. The changes were made to truly accommodate the needs of the hotel's short and long term guests.

"So many of our guests stay with us for an extended period so they really look for a space that provides all of the comforts of home," said Anna McNutt, general manager of the property. "We are so proud of the newly designed space, it truly caters to our guests' needs. The feedback thus far has been outstanding."

The new renovation follows the celebration of a number of milestones for the London Residence Inn including its 10th Anniversary in 2009. The Residence Inn also led Marriott Hotels Canada for the highest occupancy for extended-stay visits and the most improved growth in 2008. In 2009, McNutt was named Atlific Hotels General Manager of the Year, while Sales director, Chris Bassoo was named Marriott Direct Sales Leader of the Year among North American Residence Inns.
